At Lubbock Fine, supporting our community is an important part of who we are. Each year, our team selects a Charity of the Year and comes together to raise funds, awareness, and support through a series of events and activities. This long-standing tradition brings our people together and allows us to make a meaningful impact beyond our work.
Through our Charity of the Year programme, we’ve raised more than £41,000 to support organisations making a real impact.
This Year’s Charity
For 2026, we are proud to be supporting The Brain Tumour Charity, a leading organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by brain tumours. Our support this year holds special meaning, as we honour a former colleague, Rohit Majithia, who sadly passed away from a brain tumour. Throughout the year, we’ll be organising fundraising activities, firm‑wide challenges and awareness events to contribute to the charity’s vital work.
Beatson Cancer Charity provides vital wellbeing services, practical support and funds specialist staff and research to improve cancer care. We raised over £20,000 through a series of fundraising events held in memory of a former colleague who sadly passed away in August 2023.
Pancreatic Cancer UK provides expert support through dedicated nurses, funds innovative, life‑saving research, and campaigns for earlier detection and better treatment for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
Dementia UK provides specialist support to families through their Admiral Nurses, helping those affected navigate the emotional, practical and medical challenges of dementia.
Doorstep Library brings books and reading support directly into the homes of children who need it most, helping build confidence, literacy and a love of stories.
FoodCycle works to reduce food poverty and social isolation by transforming surplus food into nutritious meals served in warm, welcoming community spaces. Our fundraising efforts helped fuel their efforts to bring communities together over healthy, home‑cooked meals.
Battersea is one of the UK’s oldest and best‑known animal welfare charities, caring for dogs and cats in need and helping them find loving new homes. Our involvement focused on supporting fundraising activities and awareness‑raising initiatives, helping Battersea continue its mission of giving every animal the chance to thrive.
The Passage supports people experiencing or at risk of homelessness by providing practical help, community outreach and long‑term support. Our team took part in hands‑on volunteering, with colleagues spending half‑day sessions assisting in the kitchen, sorting donations and supporting day‑to‑day operations.
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity, providing vital support, information and services for people affected by dementia, while funding groundbreaking research and campaigning for lasting change. Our fundraising helped contribute to their work in supporting families, improving care and driving forward research that aims to transform the future of dementia.
