Mark joined Russell Bedford (Dubai) Limited as an Associate in January 2014 and now works as a director. Day-to-day, Mark supports the firm in managing operations, ensuring the quality of audit, accounting and regulatory reporting services to regulated financial institutions and non-regulated clients. He also spends time building and maintaining relationships with clients and business partners.
Mark’s clients are predominantly financial services clients. He is authorised by both Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) as audit principal to sign off on financial statements audit report and other regulatory reports. He also acts as Outsourced Finance Officer for some financial institutions regulated by both DFSA and Financial Services Regulatory Authority (“FSRA”).
Additionally, he’s a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of the Philippines, having passed the licensure examinations in May 2010.
Mark’s first language is Tagalog, having grown up in the Philippines.
Personal
Despite being colourblind, Mark has a deep passion for photography. He focuses on composition, contrast, and storytelling rather than just colour. His work was featured by Apple on its Instagram account, which was a huge milestone!
