Matthew joined Lubbock Fine as a Partner with over 25 years of professional experience advising clients, companies and investment funds across multiple jurisdictions. He is a UK-based, ACA-qualified accountant with a career focused on delivering high-quality assurance, financial reporting and technical accounting support to complex and regulated businesses.
He is also a Partner at Russell Bedford Cayman, where he leads audits for CIMA-regulated investment funds and advises on a wide range of accounting and reporting matters. His sector experience includes investment funds, financial services, fintech, digital assets and property, with a strong focus on regulated and cross-border structures.
At Lubbock Fine, Matthew plays an active role in the management and strategic development of the audit practice. He is a member of the firm’s Technical Committee, working closely with IT teams to enhance and implement innovative audit and accounting software solutions, combining deep technical expertise with a strong interest in technology-enabled audit and process improvement.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys reading, listening to music and watching films. Travelling whenever time permits, Matt is also someone who likes to cook: a skill he is working to improve over time. Matt also keeps up to date with technology advances and often tries his hand at DIY projects around the house.
