Josh Curtis Profile Picture

Profile:

Josh qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Lubbock Fine, having joined the firm as a graduate trainee in 2013. After spending time outside the firm developing accounting and tax software, he returned to Lubbock Fine and is now a Director in our Business Services team.

Josh advises a broad range of UK and international businesses, with particular experience supporting investment managers, investment funds, property investors and developers. He has significant experience across the real estate, hospitality and logistics sectors, including working with hotel owners and operators, asset managers and businesses operating through complex, multi-jurisdictional structures.

He supports clients with their ongoing financial reporting, management information and statutory compliance requirements. He is experienced in applying UK and international financial reporting standards and advising clients on their practical implications for businesses, investments and group structures.

Alongside recurring reporting and compliance work, Josh assists clients with transactions and other complex or project-based requirements. His experience includes acquisition accounting, fund and investment structures, financial modelling, cash-flow forecasting, model review and interrogation, and exit planning.

Drawing on his background in software development, Josh also advises clients on finance systems and technology. This includes reviewing existing finance functions and systems, defining requirements, supporting system selection and implementation, and identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and efficiency through automation.

Personal:

Josh is a dedicated musician and plays tenor saxophone with a London-based orchestra and bass guitar in a pop-punk band.

He also enjoys travelling with his family, although much of his time is spent returning home to South Wales to walk the dogs on what he maintains are the best beaches in the world.
