Profile:

As a key member of Lubbock Fine, Andy is part of the property advisory group, which is dedicated to looking after real estate and related businesses.

Andy offers expert advice and guidance to a wide range of property businesses on all tax and related accountancy matters. Andy’s expertise includes looking after non-resident property investors who are investing into the UK. His advice extends from the initial structuring and due diligence on target investments through to ongoing compliance work, such as accounting, audit and tax compliance, and the eventual efficient sale of the investment property.

Andy also helps a number of property development businesses remain compliant with myriad of tax rules applying to property developers including the CIS scheme, VAT and trading in UK land rules for non-residents.

Additionally, he looks after a number of international groups with UK head offices including assisting the groups with preparing consolidated accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and assisting the transition to IFRS from local GAAP.

Having joined the Lubbock Fine as a graduate trainee, Andy won a coveted prize in the final case study exam. His hard work and talent were soon recognised and he became a partner in 2012.

Personal:

Outside the office, Andy is a keen and enthusiastic cook and he has two children who take up most of his time.
