On 26 March, The Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, delivered her Spring Statement yesterday, setting out the government’s latest position on spending and economic policy, set against the backdrop of reduced growth forecasts and limited fiscal headroom.

Whilst the Statement didn’t introduce any new tax increases, previously announced measures such as the National Insurance rise and ongoing fiscal drag remain in effect. It is widely expected that more substantial tax announcements will follow in the Autumn Budget.
