In our previous Charity newsletter, we highlighted the impact of the escalating cost of living on charitable organisations. Despite the passing of six months, the financial burdens persist.

The Charities Aid Foundation has recently released new findings as part of its Charity Resilience Index showing that:

  • 57% of charities have seen an increase in demand for their services over the past year, with charities in the North of England among the hardest hit with a 67% increase
  • Less than a third of charities are highly confident in their funding
  • More than half of charities are worried about their survival

The volatile nature of the current financial and economic landscape can create a sense of concern for the administration of charities however, there are resources available for you to consider. Our Charity News includes the latest guidance and support for the not-for-profit sector, helping you to navigate the pressure of rising costs.

The summary is available to download below, with a range of accounting, taxation and governance issues to offer valuable insights into the evolving landscape that may impact your charitable organisation.
