It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved colleague and friend Rohit Majithia after a long illness borne and battled with great fortitude.
During 35 years at Lubbock Fine, 30 of those as Partner, Rohit was highly respected for his technical, professional and business acumen. His skill, supportive management and mentoring contributed directly to the development of staff and the practice as a whole.
Whilst maintaining a portfolio of UK clients, Rohit increasingly focussed on international audit work, principally for the European Commission. This work expanded the firm’s standing across the global community.
In recent years, Rohit took responsibility for the firms’ India Desk, working with inward investing corporations and high net-worth individuals. The legacy of this work continues.
Rohit built strong relationships with clients, and his calm manner, professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression.
A true gentleman, dignified, fair and friendly, Rohit was a people’s person with genuine integrity and compassion for everyone he associated with. Rohit will be deeply missed.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time. May he rest in peace.
