We are extremely pleased to announce that we have appointed Graham Caddock as Director to lead our Tax Risk and Investigations Team.
Liverpudlian Graham gained his wealth of experience working in the Tax Investigations Teams for both medium-sized and Big 4 firms. He has successfully advised on, and settled, numerous investigation cases for both corporate and private clients.
Graham has a deep knowledge of HMRC enquiry and information powers and the increased use of technology to interrogate accounting records. He also has experience of dealing with complex investigations involving offshore income and gains, non-domiciles, PAYE and making voluntary disclosures.
Graham has recently focused on settling HMRC enquiries under Code of Practice 9 (suspected tax fraud) and the use of Disguised Remuneration Schemes.
