Sarah is a manager in the Corporate Tax department, specialising in all aspects of corporation tax compliance. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2002 with a top 25 accountancy firm. Since then, she has worked at mid-tier firms, accruing over 20 years of experience in corporation tax compliance, before joining Lubbock Fine in May 2025. Sarah has a diverse client portfolio, including companies in a broad range of sectors.
Day to day, Sarah is involved in the corporation tax compliance process from start to finish, including preparation of corporation tax computations, group aspects of tax compliance such as group relief, corporation interest restriction return, group deduction allowance allocation and group capital gains. She also reviews capital expenditure to maximise capital allowances, advises on the quarterly instalment payment regime and other aspects of tax payments and works on filing and self-assessment administrative matters.
Sarah is highly experienced in all aspects of corporation tax compliance, with a keen interest in loan relationships, capital allowances and family investment companies and, having worked with a diverse portfolio of companies across many different industries and services, does not have a particular sector specialism.
She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Tax Technicians.
Personal:
In her spare time, Sarah takes interest in reading, politics, watching crime drama, trips to museums and galleries, country walks and camping. She also spends time with her family, especially her young children, and cooks dinner for friends. She also enjoys practicing French on Duolingo.
