Profile:
James qualified as a chartered accountant in 2015 with a small Glasgow-based firm, and joined Lubbock Fine in late 2016.
James is a partner in our business services department, working with a wide range of clients across multiple sectors including technology, investment funds and property investment and development. He has experience working with UK reporting standards and often manages the reporting for UK subsidiaries of larger group companies, reporting to the parent accounting function in Europe or the US.
In addition to ongoing statutory compliance, he is often the first point of contact for clients’ wider accounting needs and deals with a range of ad-hoc projects such as; cashflow forecasting, provision of audit assistance to group auditors, reviewing accounting systems and processes, acquisition accounting, implementation of group restructuring plans and completion accounting for company or asset sales.
Personal:
Outside of the office, James is a keen traveller and takes every opportunity to escape the UK and see the world. He also enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, dining out and keeping fit.
