Over the weekend of 3rd June, a team of seven Lubbock Fine members from the audit department took on the challenge of completing the Three Peaks Challenge, covering 26 miles and climbing over 3,300 meters.
The weekend began in Scotland climbing the very wet Ben Nevis before driving down to the Lake District to complete Scafell Pike in the dark. The weekend finished in Wales with a much deserved celebratory beer at the top of Snowdon.
It was a very challenging event with lots of sore knees, questionable driving and even some snow. The team was very proud of its achievement but are not planning on climbing any more mountains in the near, middle or even distant future!
