Having already been shortlisted for an award at this year's British Accountancy Awards, we are delighted that Lubbock Fine has also been shortlisted in the 'large firm of the year' category of the 2014 Practice Excellence Awards. The awards are judged by panels including the AccountingWEB editorial team and winners will be announced at a ceremony on the 6th November.
In shortlisting Lubbock Fine, the AccountingWeb website states:
This firm scored highly for its growth and process improvements, which included moving to new premises, and a heightened focus on technology that saw the introduction of a new website and mobile app. The judges were impressed by Lubbock Fine's attitude to putting clients first, expressed in a mission statement that stated its team "goes beyond the call of duty" to serve clients.
The firm made an open and honest disclosure about its financial progress, which is healthy and showing promise. Lubbock Fine's claims of excellence were supported by its client retention rate and a success at attracting good quality clients through its referral network. The firm regularly surveys its clients to monitor care quality and backed its case with two real-world cases.
