Geoff Goodyear
Geoff Goodyear joined Lubbock Fine in 1972 and was appointed managing partner in 2000. He is the Chairman of Russell Bedford International, a global network of independent accounting firms. He specialises in international tax planning and has significant experience in solving inter-jurisdictional tax problems for both corporate and private clients. He takes a broad view of clients’ affairs whether they are small, owner-managed businesses or global enterprises. This approach enables the development of imaginative and appropriate solutions for all circumstances.

Jeff Gitter
Jeff Gitter joined Lubbock Fine in 1975, immediately after qualifying with Coopers & Lybrand. He is acknowledged as an expert on issues relating to the media and entertainment industries as well as holding a number of trusteeships and executorships for private clients. Jeff recognises that his objectives are not only to ensure that the terms of his appointments are properly implemented, but also to help protect beneficiaries from the stress of what may be, difficult times. He believes in acquiring a thorough knowledge of how his clients operate, to ensure delivery of the best possible advice to personal and business clients within his extensive portfolio.

Pankaj Shah
Pankaj Shah has been with the firm since 1977. He has developed a sizeable portfolio of business and personal clients whilst developing two specific areas of expertise. The first of these is handling the affairs of partnerships, particularly of those in the legal sphere. The second is in dealing with the management and taxation of real estate investments in the UK by overseas investors. Crucial to the process is consideration of the complex tax issues to maximise tax effective opportunities for inward investors in the UK.

Laurence Newman
Laurence Newman joined the firm in 1980. In addition to his responsibilities for a portfolio of owner managed business clients primarily in the service sectors, he heads a dedicated team specialised in international audit work primarily for a number of international and intergovernmental institutions and for other entities working across several jurisdictions. This work has steadily increased over the last decade and vital to it is the ability to maintain a global perspective, bringing this to bear on clients’ business.

Naresh Shah
Naresh Shah joined the Firm in 1973, qualifying as a chartered accountant five years later. Alongside general practice work he advises both UK and overseas clients on tax planning and the establishment of relevant structures in relation to their individual circumstances. The growth of his client base has been centred on the consultancy services provided to UK non-resident and non-domiciled clients. By defining the business that he seeks to develop he is able to provide his client base with an excellent service.

Rohit Majithia
Rohit Majithia joined Lubbock Fine in 1990. He qualified in 1991 before being admitted as a partner in 1995. This rapid rise now sees him managing a dedicated team specialising in audit and consultancy work throughout the UK and Europe. Working across national boundaries with organisations of all sizes, Rohit believes that whatever the situation or environment, clients always deserve personal, efficient and quality advice.

Russell Rich
Russell Rich joined the firm in 1994 becoming a partner in 1997. He acts for a broad range of corporate and personal clients with an emphasis on charities and professional partnerships. He has developed particular expertise in advising business start-ups, acting as a quasi director and ‘hand-holder’ for his many budding entrepreneur clients. Working together with several law firms, Russell also acts for a number of high profile sportsmen and media personalities.

Mark Turner
Mark was welcomed into the partnership in 1999 having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993. Working with a broad client base, Mark provides advice and guidance to a number of owner-managed businesses. He is a firm believer in the need to be proactive, working enthusiastically with business start-ups from day one. He is particularly concerned with working very regularly with clients ensuring their steady growth and development especially in the early years. He works to provide guidance and support when needed rather than simply appearing once a year to prepare accounts and deal with compliance work.

Martin Sans
Martin started building his tax expertise at the Inland Revenue before moving on to head the London business tax practice of a top 15 firm. After forming his own firm then merging with another, where he was Private Client Tax Partner, he joined us in February 2007. Martin's view is that managing personal finances of high net worth individuals efficiently involves much more than just the routine. He works to optimise family wealth through minimising tax liabilities, effective estate planning and sound independent financial advice. Martin's clients include both UK and non-UK nationals resident in the UK, each of which have their own tax issues in the UK tax environment.

Philip Blackburn
Phil Blackburn was welcomed into the Lubbock Fine partnership in December 2006. Having qualified as a chartered tax advisor, Phil spent seven years at a large London accountancy practice prior to joining Lubbock Fine in 2002 where he was then quickly promoted to senior tax manager. His work involves tax consultancy, principally for owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals, throughout the business cycle from start-ups to exit and succession planning.
Philip Blackburn

 
Lee Facey
Lee Facey is pure, home grown talent having joined the firm as graduate trainee in 1997. He became a partner in December 2006. Lee qualified in 2000 gaining a prize in the ICAEW final case study exam – no mean feat – and was quickly promoted to manager in 2002. Lee manages a wide range of commercial and professional clients, including several property investment companies and law firms, as well as a number of charities and other not for profit organisations. He is also involved in staff training and development.

Stephen Banks
Stephen was welcomed into the partnership in June 2007 having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995. He joined the firm as Senior Manager in May 2005 having previously worked for two other major accountancy practices. Stephen manages a portfolio of commercial clients including AIM listed and internationally orientated businesses.
