Europe
Our work in mainland Europe takes in both UK subsidiaries of European groups and European businesses controlled by UK clients. Additionally, we have been undertaking audit work for the European Commission for well over a decade throughout the member states, the developing countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean region.
In Russia, we have had a presence in the marketplace for a number of years and are currently involved in many projects.
The Middle East
In the Middle East we act for clients involved in real estate transactions as well as advising personal and corporate clients on a whole spectrum of tax planning issues. We ensure that maximum advantage is taken of the different tax rules between clients’ host country and other jurisdictions so that all due benefits are exploited. Our confidence in the Middle East region, which is enjoying tremendous growth, has recently inspired us to create our own presence in Dubai.
Russell Bedford (Dubai) Limited, a company incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), was formally inaugurated in March 2007. The new company, operated by Lubbock Fine in association with Al Montalaq Limited of Dubai, is registered as an auditor and as an ancillary service provider in the DIFC.
The firm is able to assist clients with all issues relating to business start-up and operation, accounting and audit, licensing and regulatory matters.

India and East Africa
In these regions we act for clients with diverse interests in UK businesses as well as advising clients on international tax planning opportunities.
US, the Far East and Australia
In the Far East and the US we act for clients who are the subsidiaries of UK groups, and in the UK for many subsidiaries of US and Asian groups. Our work in Australia involves us in corporate administration matters and advising on international and UK tax planning issues.
Jersey
As a direct response to clients’ business demands, we have long-established professional contacts in Jersey. The island itself continues to be a key financial centre where most major financial institutions have a presence. The work handled through Jersey spans the whole offshore tax planning arena.
